Carter is a former sports journalist who has spent the past 10 years building a second career in content marketing. Seeking a new creative outlet for his writing, he joined the parent blogging community in 2012. He soon teamed with fellow 2013 Dad 2.0 Summit Spotlight Blogger Whit Honea to co-found Dads 4 Change. Carter has written for the TODAY Show, Fatherly, the City Dads blog, Life of Dad and many other parenting publications. He currently is content and copy manager at a marketing agency in Tampa, where he lives with his wildly talented and far more intelligent partner, their two ridiculously smart and wonderfully kind sons, a house cat, a show rabbit and a friendly Betta fish. This is Carter's sixth Dad 2.0 Summit speaking engagement.
